Agilisys, a supplier of enterprise software solutions for manufacturing and distribution industries, has changed its name to Infor Global Solutions.
“The goal of this name change is to provide us with a strong global brand to support continued international growth,” says Jim Schaper, chairman and CEO of Infor Global Solutions. “In the past 24 months, we have grown our revenue and successfully completed numerous acquisitions that we believe have strengthened our position in the markets we serve. Our new name represents the company’s on-going mission of solving the essential issues of select vertical markets.”
Infor focuses on solving the challenges of companies in the automotive, specialty chemical/pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, discrete manufacturing, food and beverage, and distribution industries. Infor has 27 locations, over 1600 employees, and customers in 31 countries.
Infor offers software solutions that address the specific needs of targeted verticals in areas such as supply chain planning, relationship management, demand management, ERP, wholesale distribution and business intelligence. Customers include: Denso, TRW, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Pez International, Grohe, Cargill, Heinz, Heineken, xpedx, Godiva, Valvoline, 3M Unitek, GlaxoSmithKline, and Bristol Myers Squibb.
