3PL service provider Kane Is Able will add a Michigan DC to its national network.

Growing customer demand in the Detroit market has convinced third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able, Inc. to add a Michigan distribution center to its national network in early February. KANE will move into a 60,000 square foot facility in Brownstown, Michigan, located 21 miles south of downtown Detroit. The operation will provide cross dock, distribution, and transportation services, and it will employ approximately 60 associates.

This opening follows KANE’s recent expansion in the Southern California and Atlanta markets. This 3PL’s national network now totals 6.7 million square feet of distribution space in 21 facilities. Primary locations include Detroit, Southern California, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Kansas City, New Hampshire, and Maryland, as well as more than 2 million square feet of distribution space in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the site of KANE’s corporate headquarters.
