Sept. 29, 2011
New presidents have come onboard at LTL carriers Con-way Freight, YRC and Holland.

Two national less-than-truckload carriers – Con-way Inc. and YRC Worldwide Inc. – have made significant changes to their corporate leadership.

W. Gregory (Greg) Lehmkuhl has been named president of Con-way Freight Inc., Con-way's regional and national LTL subsidiary and largest operating unit. He has also been named an executive vice president of parent company Con-way Inc.

Lehmkuhl was previously Con-way Freight's executive vice president of operations, responsible for strategic planning and execution of the company's operating network, process design, analysis and implementation; network configuration and production efficiency. He also directed Con-way Freight's change management, employee engagement and leadership development activities. He joined Con-way Freight in August 2008 from sister company Menlo Worldwide Logistics. He is based at Con-way Freight's headquarters in Ann Arbor, Mich.

YRC Worldwide has named Jeff Rogers president of YRC president and Mike Naatz president of Holland president. Both will report directly to James Welch, CEO of YRC Worldwide. Rogers previously was president of Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide, while Naatz was formerly chief customer officer of YRC Worldwide. In this role, he led the sales, information technology, customer service and quality teams for the company.

YRC Worldwide also announced additional changes to its corporate organizational structure with the elimination of the following positions: chief operations officer, chief marketing officer, chief administrative officer and chief customer officer. These changes, it is hoped, will help streamline the organization and will enable the company to manage its business more effectively and efficiently.
