Truck Carriers Form National Network

The six carriers and their core regions are: Averitt Express (south and southeastern US), Canadian Freightways/Epic Express (Canada), DATS Trucking (west), Lakeville Motor Express (midwest), Land Air Express of New England (New England) and Pitt Ohio (mid-Atlantic and central states).

The Reliance Network, as it is known, aims to be the single-source supplier for North American shipping needs, says Charles Hammel III, president of Pitt Ohio.
