G-Log has announced Global Command and Control Center (GC3) software, which adds 40 features to the GC3 system and offers expanded inventory management and international trade management functionality. The Web-native GC3 software intelligently evaluates inventory, transportation and logistics tradeoffs to drive top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability. It is designed to manage an entire logistics network across multiple modes, business units and geographies.

GC3 4.5 delivers capabilities for processing logistics service providers' complex, time-sensitive, cross-border shipments, including intelligent ocean booking and route management, rate quoting, commercial invoice creation and management, support for public hazardous material data and export licenses, centralized services management, international financial management, and advanced vessel management. These new capabilities allow logistics service providers to use GC3 as their logistics back-office system for managing all of their international trade services and computing total landed costs, which companies use to determine the profitability of a transaction.
