Non-profit organizations are eligible to win a new electric pallet truck via Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc.’s Lift a Co-Worker, Lift a Community Facebook contest. If you work with someone who volunteers in your community, submit a photo of that person with a short description along with your choice of one of five nonprofit organizations. A pallet truck is the first-place prize, while second and third place winners will receive a hand pallet truck and fourth and fifth place will receive a monetary donation.
The five participating 501(c) nonprofit organizations are: AMVETS, Best Friends Animal Society, Direct Relief International, Feeding America and the Arbor Day Foundation.
“Pallet trucks serve a vital role to help nonprofit groups transport donations and supplies,” said Jeff Rufener, president of TMHU. “We look forward to helping the selected nonprofits with a little extra ‘lifting’ power.”
