RFID Forklift Retrofit

Intermec's forklift RFID system offers fully integrated automatic data collection.

Lift truck operators can take pallet-, case-and shelf-level readings without having to leave their seat with the adaptable load backrest and antenna cell system from Intermec, Inc. (www.intermec.com). The radio frequency identification (RFID) technology makes it easier to gather real time inventory data. Developed in conjunction with Cascade Corp. (www.cascorp.com), the system can reportedly fit almost all available forklift models. RFID-enabled forklifts integrate a number of Intermec devices, including its vehicle mounted computer and RFID reader.
