Zonar has introduced its next-generation Zonar LD Telematics Control Unit (TCU), a telematics device which delivers vehicle intelligence and security data for fleets.
With the new version, vehicles can receive device performance enhancements over the air, including expanded vehicle, engine control module, odometer, and diagnostic trouble code coverage. Operators can now gain visibility into towing events for added security and situational awareness.
With cold-start event tracking, the system detects soft or hard reboots to better identify device tampering to improve the security of fleet vehicles and technology assets. Operators can calibrate and sync in two minutes to get on the road faster. The plug-and-play telematics solution also provides Zonar Ground Traffic Control reporting capabilities, including in-depth diagnostics for vehicle health and safety.
