WEROCK Technologies has introduced the Rockscan PX3000 handheld scanner, designed for use in harsh environments. It offers a robust housing design with all-round protection according to protection class IP68, high drop protection, a large reading distance of up to 29 meters, and long battery life.
The Rockscan PX3000 series of ultra-rugged barcode scanners is designed to capture data in any situation and without delay. The scanner can withstand falls from a height of up to 2.5 meters and meets the requirements of the MIL-STD-810H standard. It is also designed for extreme temperatures from -25°C to +55°C.
The hand-held scanner is available in different versions, with and without a cable. For large warehouses and production environments, the wireless scanner version with 433 MHz technology offers a range of over 50 m (up to 400 m laboratory range). Three high-end scan engine options are available that capture 1D and 2D barcodes: Standard Range, DPM (Direct Part Marking) and Extended Range. While Standard Range covers all common scanning operations, DPM is specially designed for small and high-resolution barcodes that are directly engraved on materials or products. For applications that require a longer range, Extended Range offers a scanning distance of theoretically up to 29 meters and is suitable for long scanning distances in large warehouses.
