NūMove Robotics & Vision has launched NūBotik MixPal, a robotic mixed SKU palletizing solution. The palletizing robot is installed on a 12-foot-high platform. An integrated stretch wrapper beneath the platform enables wrapping during palletizing, ensuring the pallet’s stability.
An empty pallet is staged next to the palletizing position, so the robot does not wait when a load is completed to start building the next one. These help maximize robot usage and the system’s throughput.
The system can palletize up to 800 products per hour with only one robot. To reduce robot cycle time, the solution also includes a vision-guided product orientor that turns the incoming product as required.
When required, this system can be converted to semi-automatic palletizing, providing more flexibility to the end user while still maintaining safety requirements.
