Tower Cold Chain has introduced the KTEvolution 12, a small parcel solution for pharmaceutical products. It integrates Tower’s phase-change materials (PCM) or dry ice into a new pyramid-shaped configuration.
The KTEvolution 12 plate system is designed to provide internal temperature consistency even when the container is placed on its side.
Purpose-built for last-mile delivery, laboratory distribution and clinical trials, the KTEvolution 12 provides the safe transport of thermally sensitive products requiring internal temperatures ranging from <-60°C to above +20°C.
With an internal payload up to 12 litres, it maintains thermal control for over 96 hours without the use of external power or human intervention during transit, meaning products can be shipped both domestically and internationally in a parcel-sized box. It features an outer shell constructed from three layers, including lightweight vacuum insulated panels.
