SYNCHROSUPPLY, which can process hundreds to thousands of trucks per day with virtually no human support, encompasses a centralized time slot booking platform that enables truckers to complete the registration process remotely and prior to their arrival. Integrated optical character recognition (OCR) functionality further accelerates the process by avoiding errors and increasing security. Truckers also have the option of registering onsite via self-registration terminals using mobile devices which are provided at the site and collected upon assignment completion. The registration process is fully-transparent displaying newly arrived and planned trucks.
The software provides an optimized sequence of trucks which has been determined based on pre-set parameters taking into account available warehouse resources (i.e., staff, forklifts, etc.) and load preparation data. When disruptions occur, the solution’s algorithms enable real-time revision of the process and reallocation of resources. Once a truck is called off, the driver receives a direct alert via a mobile app. Automated gate operations, integrated navigation and optimized flow are provided. The driver never needs to leave the cabin with an arrival confirmation provided via GPS technology.
A site logistics app is provided for internal use and allows staff to easily view truck status updates. Forklift drivers see the prioritization of tasks on their app, which is synchronized with that of the truck driver, so that they know which goods must be loaded in what order and volume.
