Developed in partnership with Zebra Technologies, the RFID PowerStation is an omnidirectional RFID-enabled data collection and computing cart.
“We’ve developed a mobile workstation that is more powerful and efficient than a handheld reader alone and able to automate the identifying and tracking of data in warehouses, fulfillment centers and other locations at scale,” said Steve Shaheen, DTG CEO and Founder.
The PowerStation, which features DTG’s powerful Lithium Battery Management System and Zebra’s advanced RFID reader, stands 22 to 41.5 in. in height and 30 in. in width, and it has a weight capacity of 75 lb. The mobile workstation also accommodates all vendor devices including laptops, printers, monitors, and antennae.
It also includes a hot-swappable battery solution, enabling the battery to be changed while all the devices on the workstation are powered on. The system also supports Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity to extend the reach of a tag read.
