Looking back at last year, Don Firth, president of JobsInLogistics.com noted, “there was a marked increase in the hiring trend for logistics, transportation, supply chain, distribution and manufacturing professionals.” Revenues for the employment site increased 70% in 2004, driven by a spike in traffic from those seeking jobs and those seeking employees.
JobsInLogistics.com claims more than 8,000 staffing and recruitment registered managers, with postings that run a gamut from entry-level analysts and supervisors to senior vice presidents of logistics.
The job board boasts that more than 250,000 logistics professionals across the U.S. and Canada visit the site each month. Its database comprises resumes from more than 100,000 candidates.
