Reverse Logistics Trends Inc., an association that supports third parties performing reverse logistics, notes that reverse logistics includes a number of important issues for manufacturing, wholesale and retail businesses, including product life cycle, reasons for returns and actions taken with returned product. A current study it has sponsored with San Jose State University seeks to quantify some of these factors along with how reverse logistics is performed at these companies and what kind of cost impact the various issues have.
Results will be released in September. To participate in the survey, go to www.reverselogisticstrends.com/survey.php
