CSCMP’s EDGE Supply Chain Conference, which was to have been held this year in Orlando, has been reimagined as a virtual conference experience featuring a mix of live sessions, video and chat interactive opportunities, keynotes, fireside chats, and breakout sessions.
Scheduled for September 21-23 (the same dates that the original in-person event had been scheduled) and featuring even more access to relevant content and industry thought leaders, EDGE 2020 Live will be presented via an online events platform where attendees can learn, interact and connect with people from anywhere in the world. Over 100 sessions will be presented over the three days, in such tracks as warehousing, risk management, transportation and logistics, global supply chains, and emerging trends.
Keynote presentations include:
● “The Future of Work” by Eric Termuende, co-founder of NoW at Work, where he’ll talk about how COVID-19 disrupted everything with little warning and changed how we work practically overnight.
● “Re-Building a Supply Chain through Authenticity, Engagement and Problem Solving” by Arthur Valdez, Jr., executive vice president, chief supply chain & logistics officer with Target, who will talk about how Target transformed itself from a bricks-and-mortar store with an e-commerce side business into a fully integrated omnichannel retailer that uses stores as local fulfillment hubs.
● “Social Responsibility and Diversity in Supply Chain: How to Build a High-Performance Team,” a panel discussion featuring speakers from Johnson & Johnson, Sam’s Club, C.H. Robinson, Ohio State, and The Network of Executive Women.
CSCMP’s new Town Hall Series will provide access to and encourage conversations with C-level supply chain leaders at such companies as UPS, Truckstop.com and Convoy.
The Supply Chain Exchange exhibition will offer attendees the opportunity to experience the new supply chain solutions and talk one-on-one with experts in fields such as logistics, programming and more. In this educational setting, attendees will have the opportunity to view demonstrations, equipment, systems and technologies.
