DAYTON, Ohio—Motoman Inc., a provider of robots and robotic solutions, announced it has relocated its Detroit regional center from Wixom to Rochester Hills, Mich.
The move was effective on July 1.
The nearly 15,000-square foot Rochester Hills facility includes offices, sales and service support, training, a larger demonstration lab, a manufacturing area for small robot systems and spare-parts storage for local customers. The building is located in an office park close to the I-75 corridor and near the Detroit metro area.
The company said its Detroit regional center will continue to operate under the direction of Glenn A. Jackson, vice president of the automotive OEM and Great Lakes region.
“The move makes access more convenient for the majority of our automotive customers as well as many of our targeted customers and integrators,” Jackson says. “The City of Rochester Hills is actively growing its base of high-technology businesses as part of a continuing economic development plan that makes the new location for Motoman’s Detroit center even more attractive.”
