NAPLES, Fla.—Booked orders for July were down 35% from June, according to the latest statistics from the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA).
CEMA reports that the July index reflects a decrease of 24% from a year ago. The 12-month index for booked orders in July represents a decrease of 2% from June’s 12-month index.
The association also says that the index for shipments in July is down 8% from June; however, it represents an increase of 2% from a year ago. The 12-month index for shipments in July has not changed since June.
