MILWAUKEE, Wisc.--HK Systems Inc. is appointing Michael L. Gonzalez to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Currently President and Chief Operating Officer, Gonzalez’s enhanced responsibilities include development of comprehensive corporate vision and strategy for HK’s continually expanding domestic and international business platforms, increasing profitability across the organization, driving corporate research and development supported by continuous improvement initiatives, and expanding and differentiating product and service offerings. Effective immediately, Gonzalez will oversee sales and marketing management, manufacturing operations management, engineering management, project management, human resources, accounting services, and legal counsel. Gonzalez will also join the HK Systems Board of Directors.
John W. Splude will assume the position of Executive Chairman and will be responsible for the company’s domestic and international acquisition strategy and growing HK Production Logistics, a new subsidiary providing turn-key integrated warehousing and order fulfillment management solutions for organizations experiencing supply chain complexity.
Gonzalez brings more than 30 years of executive and industry experience to the organization, offering a strong background in domestic and international sales and marketing, strategic planning, engineering, project management, customer services, and continuous improvement initiatives. “I am excited to lead HK Systems toward our strategic vision of being a world leader in providing integrated supply chain solutions, Gonzalez says. “We have a dedicated team, known for its creativity and execution excellence.
