Nook Industries’ Nook Sensor System (NSS) provides precision position control for translating screw jack systems. It replaces higher cost rotary limit switches for position sensing. The design can be incorporated into a myriad of industrial applications including material handling, defense, areospace, medical devices, stamping, conveying, and sorting.
It offers a repeatability of up to + .004" (0.1MM), and features a custom aluminum stem cover providing a housing shroud for select position and travel limit sensors. An electronic magnetic circuit is the basis of operation for these sensors.
The sensors can be completely sealed into small sizes without compromising durability. An unlimited number of sensors can be added to meet a wide-range of position sensing requirements.
