Oak Brook, Ill.—The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) named Mark B. Cleveland, business service management governance leader in the technology solutions organization of Allstate Insurance Co. (Wheeling, Ill.), president of the organization.
Timothy S. Feemster, senior vice president and director of global logistics for transaction services at Grubb & Ellis Co. (Dallas), was named vice president/president elect.
In addition, Catherine L. Cooper, executive vice president and chief information officer at Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (Brentwood, Tenn.) was named secretary/treasurer.
Patti M. Satterfield, vice president of marketing and business development at Fortna Inc. (Akron, Ohio) will serve as director of marketing; Andrea Velasquez, vice president of business development at A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. (Chicago), will serve as director of WERCouncils; and Joseph Walden, executive director of the Supply Chain Leadership Institute and assistant professor of logistics at Webster University (Kansas City, Mo.) will serve as director of education.
