According to a new study by ARC Advisory Group (Dedham, Mass.), the enterprise resource planning (ERP) market for Tier-3 small and medium businesses will grow more than 11% annually and reach $8.9 billion by 2011.
“Within the Tier-3 market, the 10-year ERP replacement cycle remains a major factor, and penetration levels are relatively low, making this an interesting market,” according to European Research Director Simon Bragg, the main author of the study, which is entitled, “Enterprise Resource Planning for Tier-3 SMBs Worldwide Outlook.”
The largest growth markets for Tier-3 ERP solutions, according to the report, are in China, Asia, and Latin America.
