Sandvik Sorting Systems is Awarded DHL Contract for 19 Linear Package Singulators

Sandvik Sorting Systems (Louisville, Ky.) has been contracted by DHL (Plantation, Fla.) to design, manufacture and commission 19 Linear Package Singulators for DHL’s air and ground hub in Riverside, Calif., and its ground hub sort facility in Allentown, Penn.

These facilities will serve segments of the air and ground parcel-sorting requirements for DHL as it expands to serve its growing customer base in the U.S. The Sandvik Singulator transforms the bulk flow of packages into a single-file for downstream sort processing. The Singulators will simplify the sort facilities’ material handling system and assist DHL in maximizing operational efficiencies. Contract terms are undisclosed.
