VERNON HILLS, Ill.—The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) is sponsoring the 15th annual University of Industrial Distribution program at Purdue University.
The educational program, which takes place Dec. 2-5 at the University Place Conference Center and Hotel in Indianapolis, is focused on the unique needs of the industrial wholesale distribution industry.
CEOs, branch managers, sales personnel, purchasing and inventory managers, human-resources directors, operations managers and many others stand to benefit from the distribution-specific program.
A small sampling of topics that will be covered include advanced inventory control, leadership for distribution managers, improving productivity and the bottom line, sales and marketing strategies and negotiation skills.
At the conclusion of the program, attendees receive an official Letter of Completion that awards 30 hours (three continuing education units), which can then be applied toward a Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution.
