    Duros Rugged Tablet Computer

    The reengineered Duros 8404 rugged tablet computer now includes an Intel Atom processor and an improved sunlight-viewable 8.4-inch diagonal SVGA resistive touchscreen.

    Intel’s 1.1 GHz Atom processor allows for faster computing yet produces less heat and offers extended battery life. The Atom processor is also available in the Duros 1214, a logistics-specific computer that mounts to lift trucks and other industrial equipment.

    The new LED sunlight-viewable display is more than three times brighter than the previous model, according to the company.
