Virginia Tech’s Center for Unit Load Design W.H. Sardo Jr. Pallet and Container Research Lab (Blacksburg, Va.) is once again offering its popular short course in unit load design, September 27-29.
In cooperation with Material Handling Industry of America, National Wooden Pallet and Container Association, and International Safe Transit Association, the course brings together professionals with interests in packaging and palletizing as well as material handling equipment suppliers.
The course teaches systems-based optimization procedures that will improve customer service and increase competitiveness. Subjects covered include corrugated boxes, load stabilization, industrial trucks and conveyor and rack systems.
