NEW BREMEN, Ohio — Crown Equipment Corporation, the manufacturers of Crown lift trucks, has introduced two new products, the ST 3000 and SX 3000 to their Stacker Series. These complete new ‘ground-up’ designs allow for better space utilization and improved operator productivity.
The stackers feature another new innovation from Crown – The X10 Handle™. Operator performance improves with the X10 handle’s easy-to-use features, minimizing hand and wrist movements. Tactile and visual differentiation of controls provides a natural, more efficient interface for left-hand and right-hand operation.
The Crown Stackers work efficiently and economically in providing multiple lift truck advantages at entry-level costs for the customer. Designed for flexibility, the Crown ST/SX Stackers are capable of lifting up to 168 inches of wood or plastic pallets, skids, metal containers or wire baskets over rough floors and in congested work areas.
The ST 3000 handles loads to 2000 lb and offers four different battery options for varying applications. The SX 3000 provides extra load capacities to 3000 lb and longer runtimes. The
SX 3000 is available with either 195 amp hour maintenance-free or 300 amp hour industrial wet-cell battery options.
Both the ST 3000 and SX 3000 Stackers improve cube utilization, allow for easier selection of product, increase operator productivity, thrive in a wide range of applications and improve safety by providing a more efficient work area.
Offering the best maneuverability in its class, the Crown ST/SX Stackers also improves handling and control in the tightest spaces with its streamlined contour design. The brake override feature allows the truck to be maneuvered with the handle in a near vertical position while remaining within the profile of the power unit.
Operators also benefit from clear views thanks to the low-profiled power unit and clear mast design with nested rails and efficient routing of hydraulic hoses. The ST/SX Stackers have standard adjustable outriggers that can be easily adjusted anywhere between 38 and 50 inches. A wide range of integrated options are available to match the ST/SX to the application.
Long-term performance advantages are further extended with Crown’s integrated approach to maintenance. Internal components can be accessed quickly and easily. Crown’s innovative Infopoint™ system simplifies troubleshooting for service technicians, reducing downtime and repair costs.
