(St. Louis, Missouri: March 26, 2003) Alvey Systems (www.alvey.com), an FKI Logistex (LSE: FKI.L) member company and integrator of material and information flow solutions, announces the completion of the second phase of the FKI Logistex Manufacturing Team deployment. In this phase, White Systems will directly report to Alvey Systems, the lead integrator for the team.
The FKI Logistex Manufacturing Team, comprising FKI Logistex Automation Division, Alvey Systems, and now White Systems, provides integrated solutions for automated material flow in the manufacturing sector.
As part of the new alignment, Ackerman also announced the immediate appointment of G. Lynnwood Rosser to director of sales and marketing for White Systems. Rosser will manage all White field and systems sales personnel and will report to William Harton, Alvey senior vice president of sales and field operations.
With the new grouping in place, all White Systems personnel will now report to Alvey president, Steve Ackerman. "The union of these great material handling companies will further strengthen the ability of FKI Logistex to serve our current and prospective manufacturing customers," noted Ackerman.
"This is a combination of strengths—joining Alvey's leadership in palletizing, robotics, conveying solutions, and systems integration with White Systems expertise in carousel and AS/RS systems, and the comprehensive capabilities of the FKI Logistex Automation Division. The FKI Logistex Manufacturing Team now offers a powerful unit to turn to for any end-to-end manufacturing material flow solution," added Ackerman. "We look forward to providing the manufacturing sector with the strongest possible material handling solutions available in the market today."
