Nestlé Chooses I.D. Systems to Calm Its Waters

HACKENSACK, NJ—Nestlé Waters North America is implementing the I.D. Systems PowerFleet wireless Vehicle Management System (VMS) for use on its industrial trucks.

To begin, the VMS system is being deployed at two sites, with expansion planned to more than 100 sites globally. The VMS is expected to help improve supply chain productivity by establishing accountability for use of equipment, ensuring it is in the proper place at the right time, streamlining material handling work flow and providing unique metrics on equipment utilization.

I.D. Systems is a provider of wireless solutions for managing and securing high-value enterprise assets, including industrial vehicles, such as lift trucks and airport ground support equipment, and rental vehicles. Its technology, uses RFID, technology to control, track, monitor and analyze assets.
