Each of eight models, variously available in three fuel configurations (gasoline, LP, and gas/LP) meets or exceeds stringent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards for reducing CO, HC, and NOx. EPA-compliant, PurePower(TM) engines supply the horsepower and torque required for hard-working applications, and use two-stage fuel injection to provide an extra power boost when needed. The trucks also feature a drive-by-wire throttle control that helps to improve fuel efficiency and emissions levels while providing responsive acceleration.
The ergonomic design is operator friendly and includes a three-way, cloth-covered, full-suspension seat that helps resist shock and vibration. A memory feature on the tilt steering column makes it easy for operators to return the column to their preferred position after re-entering the truck.
To extend the work life of these rugged trucks, an on-board alert system helps minimize downtime by identifying critical operating conditions when they occur. The standard indicator package includes a transmission oil lamp, engine status light, fuel gauge (gasoline), hour meter/diagnostic codes, coolant temperature level, the engine protection system and much more.
