Colson Launches Educational Web Site

JONESBORO, Ark.—Colson Caster Corp., a supplier of caster and wheel products, has launched a Web-based training and information Web site.

Colson said it created the site as a way to educate its customers and clients to ensure they receive authentic Colson products. The company said its clients have received counterfeit materials from import providers.

“One of our field personnel spotted our wheels attached to counterfeit forks,” said David Long, product manager of Colson. “The product had been represented to the end user as a complete Colson caster model. Our products are used in critical applications where product failure could be dangerous and costly, so we created this reference guide to protect our customers and our business.”

The new web site, located at www.colsoncaster.com, features a link that shows users how to identify authentic Colson caster products.
