    Equipped with its own rechargeable battery pack, the LED Hand Lamp offers fully portable lighting solutions for tight or confined spaces – LEDs provide 100,000 hours of service life. LISLE, Ill.-- Woodhead Industries, a division of Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ:MOLX)(NASDAQ:MOLXA), will introduce its innovative Woodhead® LED Hand Lamp at the Electric West Show, Booth #836. The compact, battery-operated hand lamp employs 30 light emitting diodes (LEDs), which generate 780 initial lumens of light – the equivalent light output of a 13-Watt compact fluorescent bulb – and provide 100,000 hours of service life. Yet the lamps use less than 0.1 Amp, making them energy efficient, economical to operate, and cool to the touch. Compact in size for use in tight or confined work spaces, the new Woodhead LED Hand Lamp features an integral rechargeable battery pack to provide optimum flexibility and portability in a multitude of industrial applications, such as aerospace manufacturing and maintenance, shipyards, food processing plants and other industrial environments. The lamp’s rugged yet lightweight design features include:

    • Highly impact resistant LED light board which resists damage and breakage, even after repeated drops.
    • Heavy-duty, impact resistant butyrate guard to protect LEDs from being crushed under light load pressures.
    • Patented NEoTEX® rubber handle, highly resistant to scuffing, gouging and tearing.
    • Rugged poly 360o rotating hook and oval profile for accurate and stable positioning.

    Two versions of the Woodhead LED Hand Lamp are available; a 120V/60Hz/0.1 Amp model with 25-ft cord and NEMA 1-15 plug and a 12V DC SuperSafeway® Rechargeable Battery Pack with 120V AC charger and 6-ft coil cord that when fully recharged has a power service life of more than two weeks of continuous usage.
