PITTSBURGH, PA – AIM, Inc. announced the newly elected members of the Technical Symbology Committee (TSC) for 2004 - 2005.
The Technical Symbology Committee of AIM is chartered to create specifications for symbologies used by companies around the world and is one of the longest standing committees in the AIM organization. The TSC members are nominated and elected by the members of AIM for their technical expertise in the world of bar code symbologies. The term of the membership is two years.
The following people have been elected to the committee for a two-year period commencing on 1 January 2004.

Mr. Yuji Tsujimoto, TD Scan
Meetings of the TSC are open to anyone who wishes to attend, however, the bulk of the work in creating the various symbology specifications falls to the expert team of the TSC. The above members join the 2003 - 2004 team members of:

Dr. Clive Hohberger, Zebra Technologies
Mr. Rick Schuessler, Symbol Technologies
The TSC meets four to six times a year, in various locations around the world, typically for two days at each meeting. Sponsored by their companies, the members of the committee ensure that the best possible specifications are created for bar code symbologies.
Without the support of people like the members of the TSC and the added support of their companies, AIM would not be able to create the bar code symbology specifications that are so widely used around the world.
