This is the sixth year in a row the Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America (MCFA) brand has participated in the event. Local lift truck dealer Adobe Equipment Inc. will supply and service up to 100 lift trucks, including models P5000-P7000, DP40K-DP50K, DP70E and P22000-P33000.
The lift trucks will move animal feed and hay, stage equipment, food supplies and more than 700,000 visitor guides throughout the 260-acre Reliant Park in Houston. More than one million people are expected to attend the event.
MCFA is also hosting Cat Lift Trucks Youth Night with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston. The event treats 25 pairs of big and little brothers and sisters to a night at the rodeo, private tour of the show and tickets to the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez concert.
Additionally, for the sixth year, Cat Lift Trucks will award two $5,000 scholarships to two Houston-area high school seniors pursuing higher education in a mechanical engineering or business-related field. The deadline to submit applications is April 2.
