I.D. Systems, Inc. (Hackensack, N.J.) and Yale Materials Handling Corp. (Greenville, N.C.) a unit of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. (Portland, Ore.) announced a joint promotion of I.D. Systems’ Wireless Asset Net vehicle management system.
I.D. Systems’ wireless technology consists of intelligent, RFID-based, vehicle-mounted computers, a wireless communication infrastructure and client-server software. The system has demonstrated a return on investment for users by improving industrial workplace safety and security, reducing vehicle maintenance expenses and other fleet operating costs, and increasing fleet efficiency.
“The flexible functionality of I.D. Systems’ wireless vehicle tracking and control technology gives Yale a unique opportunity to tailor fleet management solutions to fit diverse customer needs,” said Bruce Pelynio, Yale Materials Handling Corp.’s director of aftermarket sales
