The system is designed to provide all zones of a belt conveyor, including the tail, load, carrying and head zones. At this time, however, only the load zone has been introduced. Other zones will be introduced in the next 18 months, according to the company.
The components of the Evo system can be installed individually, in combination to construct each zone, or in a full, new conveyor. Martin Engineering also says the components are suitable for retrofit applications and upgradeable to meet future material handling needs.
