The new facility, estimated to cost $75.5 million, will be one of the largest distribution centers in central Ohio. Whirlpool will occupy 90 acres of a 180-acre site at Pizzuti Cos.' Rickenbacker West Industrial Park.

The project is the result of a network realignment following Whirlpool's acquisition of Maytag Corp. for $1.8 billion in 2006.
