ACE is the electronic manifest used in the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) trade processing system. NFMTA points out that the ACE automated cargo manifest is currently being implemented in clusters and will soon become mandatory at all border crossings into the US from Canada and Mexico.

Currently, ACE is required in Arizona, California, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
ACE Web is a Web-based interface allowing the user to store information and create shipment and trip templates, says NMFTA. ACE Fax allows users to send their manifest information via facsimile to a service center where the data are reentered into an e-manifest and sent to CBP.
