New SkyTeam Members Mean More Airfrieght Options

Continental, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines have joined the SkyTeam, bringing the total worldwide system for Cargo to 110 countries and more than 500 destinations

Continental, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines have joined the SkyTeam, bringing the total worldwide system for Cargo to 110 countries and more than 500 destinations.

The three airlines join SkyTeam Cargo members Aeroméxico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA, Delta and Korean Air.

“In an ever transforming industry,” says Jean-Cyril Spinetta, CEO of Air France and Chairman of Air-France KLM, “alliance membership is a necessity, allowing airlines to work together to navigate change. SkyTeam continues to drive innovation in the industry as it welcomes two airlines from the U.S. and incorporates Europe’s leading airline group, Air France-KLM.”
