JAL Will Cut Freighter Services

Sept. 25, 2009
JAL said it would discontinue three weekly freighter flights to Narita

After October 25th, Japan Airlines (JAL) plans to discontinue three weekly freighter flights between Tokyo Narita and London airports (via Amsterdam).

The Tokyo-Frankfurt cargo route served by three freighter flights a week will also be revised to connect via Amsterdam. Freighter flights to Amsterdam and Frankfurt will be maintained, using belly capacities on two daily Boeing B777 flights between Tokyo Narita and London to continue serving the cargo needs on the route.
