The August 26-27 course teaches how to use, justify, choose, transition to, measure and manage 3PL relationships. Besides giving an overview of the 3PL marketplace, there is help in how to build the business case for using an outside supplier. Case studies are presented drawn from the automotive, food, telecommunications, service parts, consumer products and high technology markets. Cost models for writing 3PL contracts, including gain sharing models and fee structure alternatives, are included in course materials and discussion.
