Given by Frost & Sullivan the Awards are based on Voice of Customer research. Top ASEAN-wide winners included NYK Logistics as Best Logistics Service Provider, Singapore’s Changi Airport and the Port of Singapore were named Best Airport for Cargo and Best Seaport.

The program is designed to provide recognition of best practices and outstanding performance by third party logistics providers and transportation companies in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) community, with particular focus on four countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Winners are determined based on satisfaction ratings made by logistics end users. Evaluation is determined on 20 attributes, including such matters as commitment to customer needs, domestic and international network reach, warehouse facilities, industry expertise, payment flexibility and customized service, among others.

There were 28 winners in all, including five new ones added by Frost & Sullivan this year—cargo handling for airport and seaport, transport management systems, warehouse management systems at the ASEAN level and express services at the country-level.

Among individual country winners, were CEVA as Best Automotive Logistics Service Provider (Thailand), DHL as Best Express Service Provider (Malaysia), FedEx as Best Express Service Provider (Singapore) and APL Logistics as Best Retail & Fast Moving Consumer Goods Logistics Service Provider (Indonesia).
