June Conveyor Orders Up 20% from Year-Ago

Shipments were up 14%.

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its June 2014 booked orders increased 20.6% when compared to June 2013 orders. June 2014 booked orders when compared to May 2014 booked orders were up 18.4%.

June booked orders were up 12.9% for bulk handling equipment and up 22.0% for unit handling equipment when compared to May.

CEMA’s June 2014 billed sales (shipments) increased by 14.3% when compared to June 2013 sales. June 2014 billed sales when compared to May 2014 billed sales were up 2.4%.

June billed sales were down 5.0% for bulk handling equipment and up 6.8% for unit handling equipment when compared to May.
