Penchant Software’s Deo is a PalmOS native application designed to help manage ground route deliveries using bar code scanning, signature capture, wireless job updates, automatic reporting and total integration with Penchant’s client/server platform, dispatchOffice. It enables rapid transaction processing using either wireless or batch modes.

Deo works with the ruggedized Symbol SPT series, specifically the 1833. Users can transmit jobs, status changes, package scans, signatures and other messages as needed.

Deo’s smart routing technology supports automatic route determination with multiple hubs, up to 25 layers deep, including the final drop. It features complete system visibility and up-to-the-second status via wireless mode.
