Kewill Systems North America (www.kewill.com) has developed a web-based returns management system for FedEx (www.fedex.com) that enables FedEx World Service Centers or participating FedEx Authorized Ship Center locations to process their portion of those returns through the recently announced FedEx Consolidated Return Service.

Targeted for customer-direct merchants, the Kewill application simplifies and automates the returns processed through the network of thousands of FedEx drop-off points. It offers web-based tracking through a FedEx tracking number assigned at the drop-off location that is linked to the Return Merchandise Authorization number assigned by the merchant. Final disposition of the item (returned to inventory, repaired, or delivered to a secondary location) can also be part of the return record, giving greater visibility for inventory purposes.
