Dosatron International Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of chemical dispensers, has implemented Radio Beacon WMS in its 9,000 sq ft. warehouse in Clearwater, Fla. Dosatron worked with Warehouse Management Solutions Inc., a warehouse technology consulting organization, on the implementation and is using Radio Beacon WMS to increase accuracy, efficiency and customer service levels in its facility.

The WMS provides Dosatron with inventory planning, productivity monitoring and reporting tools, which help the company to track its warehouse operations in real-time. By leveraging Radio Beacon, Dosatron reduced WMS maintenance requirements by 75%, allowing warehouse staff to focus their efforts on more strategic tasks.

Improved warehouse performance has also enabled Dosatron to increase service levels by 30% and the company is now able to support a 17% increase in sales in early 2004, over the same period in 2003, without adding any staff to the warehouse.

Because Radio Beacon WMS integrates smoothly with Microsoft Great Plains, Dosatron is able to gain real-time visibility into its operations and supply chain performance. This allows the organization to leverage the information to make more informed business decisions.
