CDC Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDC Corp., is a supplier of industry-specific enterprise software applications and business services. It will acquire Milwaukee-based Catalyst International, a supply chain execution solutions and services provider with annual revenues of approximately $35 million.

"This acquisition will expand our global supply chain offerings and base of blue-chip customers," said Eric Musser, ceo of CDC Software. "We are also excited about the advanced architecture of CanalystConnect, an event-driven, rules-based workflow platform that will serve as an integration backbone in the future for CDC Software's applications," he added.

Though the company said it expected the acquisition to be completed by the end of September, it did not release terms of the deal.
