Conveyor Orders Rose in February
Booked orders in February 2010 increased 15% over the previous month, according to the latest statistics from the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA).
February 2010 orders also rose 15% from those recorded for February 2009. However, the 12-month index in February only increased 1% from January 2010’s 12-month index.
As for shipments, CEMA reports that February billed sales are up 19% from January. The index for February 2010 declined 8% from February 2009. The 12-month index in February represents no change from January 2010’s 12-month index, according to CEMA.
