Axium to Offer ABB Mixed-Load Palletizing Systems
Axium Inc. has been selected by ABB Robotics as a strategic channel partner for mixed-load palletizing products and services in North America.
“With Axium’s expertise and ABB products, we believe that we can offer manufacturers a significant advantage to meeting our mutual customer’s demands for custom mixed pallets,” says Joe Campbell, vice president sales and marketing for ABB Robotics North America.
Axium's modular, mixed-load packing and palletizing system uses robotic hardware and Cube-IQ project planning software to create pallets on the fly, allowing companies to reduce inventory and labor costs and maximize floor space, according to Axium.
“Manufacturers are increasingly challenged to adapt as their customers’ product mix gravitates more and more to multiple-product, mixed-load requirements,” says Robert Jodoin, president of Axium.
