Motion Controls Robotics to Offer Webb AGCs
Motion Controls Robotics Inc. recently signed a SmartCart automatic guided cart (AGC) value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with Jervis B. Webb Co., a Daifuku subsidiary.
"With SmartCart AGCs, we extend the scope of products we offer to automate end-of-line packaging, palletizing and warehousing solutions,” says Earl Raynal Jr., sales manager at Motion Controls Robotics.
SmartCart AGCs are guided by magnetic tape, allowing users to install or modify the guidepath in a few hours, according to Jervis B. Webb. The automated vehicles are suitable for moving products on an assembly line or transporting materials throughout a plant or warehouse.
